Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make McAlester Family Eyecare the leading provider of vision care products and services in McAlester.

Andrea Mazzare, O.D.

Dr. Andrea Mazzare is originally from Miami, Oklahoma and graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2009. She is quoted saying “You never know what God has in store. When He planted my little family in McAlester in 2013, we found home.”

Dr. Mazzare, grateful for her Native American roots, worked as the department head for the Choctaw Nation for 10 years and then in 2016, a few weeks short of welcoming a 2nd child, she and her husband Matt opened the doors to a small business: McAlester Family Eyecare. In 2018, MFE expanded buying McAlester Vision Center across from the post office.

Dr. Mazzare loves Jesus and considers Optometry her career and her ministry. She has been an active member of the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. She is passionate about her family, dogs, and loves working with children.

Debbi

My name is Debbi. I am the office manager and I get to use my more than 20 years of experience in the optical field to do a little bit of everything in the office. I take pride in helping McAlester with their eye health needs.

KC

My name is KC: Lead optician, insurance specialist, and frame guru. I am passionate about life, your eyecare, and fun frames. I love being able to serve this community and I strive to make a difference in your eyecare experience.

Kayla

Raven

Hi, I’m Raven. I joined the McAlester Family Eyecare team in 2020. I work in reception and try to create a better eye care experience for you when you check in and out. I try my best to answer any questions over the phone and look forward to helping your vision needs.
